Short jacket. Black cotton garment is open at front with a collar of red and blue stripes. Sleeves are long and made in Hmong style with layered bands of red, yellow and blue applique, interspersed by panels of embroidery and patterned fabric. A collar flap hangs partially down the back, with embroidered tan squares and black circles on a red background.

Short jacket with long sleeves. Exterior is black cotton with wide stripes of star motif embroidery on upper arms and wrists, edged by red and cobalt blue cotton stripes. The same stripes edge the open front seams. A rectangular flap hangs down the back, attached at neck. Dense embroidery in black, white and light yellow ‘X’ shapes cover the surface. The interior of the jacket and bottom hem are lined with dark blue denim.

Jacket, or sweater, made of dark blue cotton. Garment has a round neckline and is short in the torso, with long sleeves. Stomach area has dense embroidery showing lines of triangles in red, white, orange and green. Chest has several vertical lines in the same colours, and is embellished with X-shapes made of light grey seeds. Wrist cuffs are embroidered. Back and front of garment are identical.
