A long rectangular cedar plank with faded Northwest Coast designs imprinted in the surface of the wood. Plank is dark red-black overall, with black faded designs. The plank is darker near the top. Has a large longitudinal split at the bottom. Rectangular indention on back near top. Long and thin indentation near the base on the front. Small rectangular indentation near the top on the front.

Snowshoes1551/1 a-b

Pair of snowshoes. Each is separated into three sections by two wooden boards. The two end sections are filled webbing of thin lengths of skin. Centre section is of knotted, thicker skin thong. There is a hole at one end of centre section. The two ends of each snowshoe are held together by metal wire and nails.

Woven basket with spruce root warp and weft with design elements in aniline dyed grass and spruce root. Various twined weaves - base is mixed twined (plain twined alternating with wicker weave), sides are plain twined with an embroidered design. Design consists of two wide horizontal bands composed of brown concentric squares with an orange and green diamond in the centre. Both bands are bordered by rows of brown and cream. Between the bands are stepped patterns in green and orange. The base has two bands of checkered green.
