The words "OLEALAVAA" and "LILIA AND PEAUX MANUA" are incorporated into the border. The designs have geometric motifs within hand-drawn boxes. The edges are cut in a large zigzag pattern.

A rectangular handle decorated with white and blue beads creating a pattern of lozenges on one side only. Bound with bark fibre in a geometric pattern. Twelve long teeth extend outward.

On both sides of the line are rectangles with a geometric pattern including the word ‘hakauga’ and floral, leaf and circle motifs. At the ends are undecorated squares with the words ‘tagi’ and mele’ on the left and the numbers 1 to 4 on the right.
