Cylindrical basket with a square base and a round mouth. Single strips of darker material run diagonally from each corner, intersecting twice on each side. Variation in weave creates a row of wider stitches at the base, 4 cm. and 6 cm. from the base. Rim edge is cut and folded.

Rectangular, square-based basket with somewhat flaring walls to a circular rim. Sides decorated with four horizontal rows of black wefts. The rim with a braided edge is reinforced with a bundle and wrapped with cedar bark.

Human face mask. The plain brown face has circular cut out hole eyes outlined by black and surrounded by a tapering oval outlined by black and a red area above and around the eyes with triangular, black brows above. The nostrils are red. The open mouth and the area below it are red. There are five black hairlines at either top side with a red spot in between them.

Carved mask of a human face. The green-brown face has semi-circular cut out hole eyes outlined by black and surrounded by a white tapering oval and an area around the eyes in suggestion of an ovoid shape with wide black brows above. The large protruding nose has the nostrils cut out. The open red mouth is showing ten white bared upper teeth. The moustache and the goatee are skin pieces. Wrinkles are carved in the forehead and in the cheeks. Skin and leather tongs are attached.

Round base with flaring walls and a round mouth. Walls decorated with four horizontal bands of dark brown stitches alternating with red-brown stitches. Two band rows alternating with two bands of three rows. Reinforced wrapped rim. Base started with a checker weave while the remainder of the base and just two rows of the side are in an s-twist.

Flared cylindrical basket with a circular base and a mouth yellow-brown base demarcated from the walls by raised row of alternating stitches in two yellow-brown and one brown. Sides are decorated with a wide band of light yellow, in two groupings, one of two rows and one of seven rows. Band of red-brown above with yellow-brown sideways v's top band is yellow-brown twining. Rim edge warps are folded and secured with two rows of raised twining.

Black rectangle divided into four quadrants. Each quadrant consists of a separate stylized image. Across the top, there are two figures underneath a red gable roof. Above, there are black diagonal lines on the left side and a notched black line following the roof to the right side. Frontal figure on the left side has arms raised beside the head. A red three digit hand on the right side holds a red split u in a black u form while the black hand on the left side has five digits. Has a black ovoid head with black eyes, and the other features are red. The shes has two red split u's in black u forms with a red line at the centre with rib-like red lines below. Large black ovoid in ovoid below with red legs bent up to the sides ending in round black feet with a single digit appendage. Large figure at the top right has arms raised to either side of the head. A five digit black hand is on the left side while a three digit black hand is on the right side. Black outlined hat over black ovoid head, black eyes with the other features in red. Series of black split u's, red u fomrs, and black u forms give a robe appearance to the body with large black ovoid in ovoids at the knees. Bottom right has a red circle with radiating red lines to the quadrant edges and an elongated salmon-trout ovoid across the centre. Bottom left has a diagonal frontal frog-like face with three digit limbs to either side and a crosshatched triangle filled lower half of quadrant. Divided from the frog, top right to bottom left, by notched red band, there are circles and split bands on the right and the bottom. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads '25/75 15/8/77 THE WEGET LEGEND Roy Henry Vickers TSIMSIAN TRIBE KITKATLA B.C.'. There is an embossing on the lower right corner for 'NORTH WEST COAST INDIAN ARTISTS GUILD member' with a salmon-trout head at the centre. The print is on a relatively square, light brown paper piece.

Stylized configurative animal image in black form line with orange-brown detail. Animal lies on its back with flipper-like appendages overlapped at the top. Large black ovoid body with a flattened long edge at the top. Upside down salmon-trout head at the centre outlined by black with an orange-brown split u and s-shapes to the sides. At the left top, there is black u form with two orange-brown u forms inside, each of which has an ovoid at the top all outlined with a u-shaped orange-brown line. Flipper-like, black appendage to the right is crossing the second which starts at the right end of the u form. Neck stretches out to the right with four evenly spaced orange-brown s-shapes along the interior. Large circular, black eye is followed by a tapering snout with an orange-brown u form and five horizontal, red whiskers pointing to the left side. Sweeping black line from the ovoid to the right bottom divides into three. Two close, parallel black lines run horizontally behind the animal. Two segment, discontinuous black horizontal line across the top has four and five orange-brown tree-like vertical lines, respectively. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge '61/195 3/7/78 NORTHERN FUR SEAL Roy Henry Vickers'. The print is on a horizontally rectangular, light white-brown paper stock.

House of BlackfishNb7.304

Stylized image of a house front. Gabled roof and outside supports in red-orange bands. House front design is bilaterally symmetrical. Three wedge shaped vertical elements hang under the eaves on each side of the roof. In the house, there is a frontal humanoid figure at the top centre on top of a black rectangle with circles off centre. To either side, there are large profile whales curling and facing inward with the ovoid head to the centre and the black outlined split u to the outside. Red outlined horizontal band above the house tapers to the right with two notches, one at the centre and one to the left. Random series of red outlined circles between the band and the roof on the left side.
