Item Search

The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Whalebone Club | Fake2.5E1643
War Club2387

A long, angular slip of dark, green-gray stone, crisply faceted from end to end, gives little hint of its violent purpose. The blade of a war pick, an elegant minimalist sculpture, was once hafted cross-like in a wooden club designed to split helmets and shatter skulls. In bloody wars it was a weapon of remarkable efficiency, a long, dense spike with great penetrating power. War picks were ceremonial weapons as well. (Holm, Spirit and Ancestor, 1987)
