Textile composed of two pieces of cotton damask with a flower-like pattern and dyed blue over orange-brown with a series of bands composed of two block printed geometric designs. The shorter ends are unfinished.
Rectangular shaped cotton textile consisting of hand woven strips with machine sewn bordered ends. The design is alternating red and brown stripes of the same approximate width.
A plain, orange-grey stone that has an oblong rectangular shape with both sides rounded while all ends taper at an angle, one end being flat and vertically semi-oval in shape to create an edge at that end which is more flared than the other end which has a similar but smaller effect.
Roughly circular open weave net. Net is lashed to a bent wood frame.
Drum with wood hourglass form. Skin stretched over top and bottom. Strings for tension.
A large object (part a) with a long wood band across two-thirds of the way down a wood arched frame. Above the long wood band, there are fourteen flat rectangular wood pieces lying perpendicular to the long wood band but parallel in association with each other and tied together with skin and string. Below the long wood band, there are ten gourds decreasing in size all in a row. (Gourds and plaques tied and resinated together.) There are two sticks (parts b-c). The largest gourd (part d) is loose.
Necklace composed of a disc-shaped pendant on a string of lozenge-shaped beads alternating with circles of twined grass with two spherical beads next to the pendant. The pendant is formed from grass stuck into beeswax with protruding twined strands at the centre and two bands of neatly twined strands.
A wood print block with a stick handle. Design consists of an alternating pattern of three and four small two-halved sectioned leaves, adding up to twenty-one leaves in total. Carved with chisel and saw.
A metal sword with a male head finial that has bulging eyes and a head piece which wraps around at the end of the handle. Underneath the head, there is a pattern of two protruding, four grooved, two protruding, and four grooved horizontal ridges along the cylindrical handle itself. The blade is incised with geometric patterns consisting of quadrangles with cross hatch marks within, wave-like curls, and dots, as well as a floral pattern with leaves.
Figure in the form of a woman. Has small eyes, a large nose, and a mouth with big ears, and an upraised forehead. Shoulders angle downward with the arms resting at either side; shows carved breasts and large navel. The legs are straight and attached to base.
