Woven palm fibre hat consisting of fibres woven through and laid flat around outside of hat; long stripes of palm sit on a horizontal diagonal and are secured by palm fibre strips laced across. Twine woven, with two solid ring bases around edge. The weaving comes to a point at the top which is wrapped with stripes of palm to for a cylindrical-like shape.

Plain realistic style of a woman's head with a black shiny finish. She has a prominent forehead with carved eyes having eyelids. There is a rounded nose, a fairly ample mouth, and the ears are on the sides. There is a neck with a base that has diagonal grooves all around the sloped sides. She is wearing a cap on her head decorated with vertically curvy lines going up to the central rounded knob and filled in throughout with grooved lines.
