Indonesian slit gong or Kentongan wood drum carved in the shape of a fish with a large cylindrical shaped body that tapers into a square shaped tail with a triangular indentation along the bottom edge. The mouth is open with a slight pucker. The body is incised with curved two different curved lines for scales and for fins. There is a hole drilled through the top and bottom of the mouth for hanging. Through the middle of the stomach is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior.
Long dark brown wood piece with a linear slit down the middle of the long boat shape. Seated human figure on top has a large, rounded head with eyes, a nose, a mouth, and ears. Hands are folded in front.
Indonesian slit gong or Kentongan wood drum carved with a slight bulbous shape. The top is flat with a semi-circular handle with a cylindrical shaped stick running through that has a carved snake head on each end; bottom is rounded. The sides are carved in relief with a stylized geometric design of triangles, semi-circles, circles and diagonal lines; painted orange, yellow and brown. Through the middle of the body is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior; opening is lined with a band of triangles. There is a hole drilled through the top for hanging.
Cylindrical hollow gong with slit for about 1/2 the length centred lengthwise; carved designs at either end. Top end has dragon ? face centred on slit; opposite side from dragon there is a small hole drilled through wood; other end has flower designs carved into same side of gong as face.
Long, Indonesian slit gong or Kentongan wood drum carved in the shape of a dragon figure with a cylindrical shape body and a flat bottom. The top is slightly rounded with an incised dragon head detailed with ears, large protruding eyes and a flat nose with incised nostrils. Through the middle of the body is a large slit opening that leads to a hollow interior; opening is in the shape of the creature’s mouth with teeth or scales along the entire length. The body of the drum is the body of the dragon carved in relief with a human figure along with various other dragon-like creatures. There is a hole drilled through the head for hanging.
Rectangular red textile with woven bands and fringe. The centre band has large concentric diamond motifs in red, green and yellow on cream ground with a border of smaller diamond motifs. Flanking the centre band are thinner bands of red-white and blue-white, with diamond motifs filled with a swirl design. At the ends the unwoven strands are twisted into fringe. The back is unlined.
