Beer Pot3434/1 a-b

Round, burnished, black pot with a side by side double diamond design carved around the sides three times. Each diamond is composed of rows of smaller raised diamonds. The form is globular, with a flat circular base, and wide circular mouth. A round, woven basketry piece (part b) fits over the opening as a cover. The cover is woven in a coiled design.

Long looped beaded neacklace. Composed of two lengths of cylindrical beaded strings with all four ends stitched together, leaving two loops. The beadwork is wrapped around a rolled, loosely woven natural-coloured textile base.

Armband3376/2

Beaded armband composed of a horizontal band with thick layers of beaded fringe. The band is backed by a loose weave textile formed into three tube-like rows beaded in pale pink. A thick fringe of twisted dark blue fibres, each with two large sections of white, light blue, olive green beads, each colour separated by a single red bead. Sections separated with a space of fibre. Fibre knotted below the upper section and at the end.

Chest Ornament3376/1

Chest ornament composed of three sections with rolled horizontal beaded bands attached at either end by small rounded copper(?) buttons. The centre section three strips are covered in light pink beading with white, black, white, red, and white beading on either end. Hanging is a beaded rectangular ornament with two sections of blue and white checkerboard pattern, with three vertical bands of red / white / red. Ends in short fringe of black beading with white tips. Long twisted ropes hang down on either side of the chest piece with large blue and light yellow beads, copper rings and bells.

Long, wide, beaded, double-sided necklace of numerous colours. Stripes of plain colours alternating with strips of interlocking diamond designs. From one end to the other, the stripes of plain colours are pink, green, red, dark blue, yellow, and light blue. The strips of interlocking diamond designs are multi-coloured. The stripes and strips are separated by a thin white band outlined by black. Flat panel beading, double thickness. Tassles at corners are consisting of larger multi-coloured beads.

Twisted grass with raised woven threads in eight horizontal rows and conical-shaped brass buttons forming the design on the front. There are five main sections of conical-shaped brass buttons, two of which have twenty-five in a five by five format and three of which have twenty in a five by four format. Each end has a vertical row of five conical-shaped brass buttons with three around the rounded edge. Small pink, blue, and white glass beads are attacheded at intervals along the top and bottom edges.

Pair of beaded anklets (parts a-b). Numerous colours in an interlocking cross design. The main design of the first anklet (part a) is consisting of a diamond shape with a v-shape at either side. The diamond shape, from the top down and from the left to the right, has cross shapes in the following: dark blue; green and yellow; pink, orange-red, and green; light blue, white, pink, and dark red; dark red, dark blue, and yellow; yellow and orange-red; and green. The v-shape on the left side has the following: yellow, dark red, dark blue, orange-red, pink, green, and orange-red. Attached to the v-shape on the left side, there is a pink cross shape at the top corner and a light blue one at the bottom corner. The v-shape on the right side has the following: orange-red, light blue, pink, grenn, yellow, dark blue, and pink. Attached to the v-shape on the right side, there is yellow cross shape at the top corner and a dark red one at the bottom corner. All of the shapes are outlined in black on a white background. The edges of the sides have a vertical row of rectangles in various colours. At each of the top corners, there are two light blue beads attached with a loop on one. At each of the bottom corners, there is a small orange bead. The second piece (part b) is the same as the first (part a). Flat panel beading.
