Gift or jewel basket with woven design of black and tan. Black and red feathers are ribbed into the weave and white shell beads are sewn into the side of the basket.
Two pieces of horn put together. The handle is black and carved, the ladle is thin and amber colored.
This spoon is carved in one piece. The handle has five animal heads, very deeply carved and standing out along the handle. All the animals have abalone shell eyes.
Twined basketry case in two parts for carrying bone needles.
The object is a basket and lid. The body is cylindrical and the lid comes to a pinnacle above which is a small knob. The object has a repeated overall surface pattern of simple woven red and green wool checked "flag" shapes. Linear strips of wool are parallel along the base and spiral upward on the lid. Condition is good.
The figure is the third from the right. This figure has an open mouth with closed eyes. Her arms are held across her chest. Her vagina clearly shows as she is crouching on a smooth ball form. See also 03.325.4527- 34. These figures were all found together inside a painted pot. They were purchased from the German trader, Cronmeyer.

The figure is on the left (in front). This female figure has an open mouth with closed eyes. Her arms are held along her sides and under her stomach. Her head has a wrapped form as if wearing a headdress. She is in a kneeling position sitting down on her legs. See also 03.325.4527- 34. These figures were all found together inside a painted pot. This spoon is carved in two pieces. The handle is carved, the bowl is plain. Detail description follows: The design begins at the tip of the handle with a segmented cone (possibly representing the rank symbol for the figure below). This cone rests upon the head of a long, thin, standing figure with large, down-slanted eyes and a protruding tongue held with the hands. The figure stands upon a section of a cylinder of four, elaborated rectangles carved on the side. Below this is an animal head with a long beak-like nose that curls down towards the mouth. The head might represent a hawk. In the open mouth of this head a double row of teeth is clearly indicated. Condition: good.
Dipper style. Whitish-gray body with black paint design. Separate handle attached to side of bowl. Design of the exterior is plain; interior is 8 geometric stepped designs with interior triangles; handle has 3 black stripes on upper surface. Rattles in handle. Cracks and old repairs where handle joins the bowl. Paint cracks and two small holes along upper length of handle. One small chip from rim. Dark firing smudges on bowl exterior.
