An elbow pipe carved from argillite with no decoration except for a small band in the crook of the elbow.; Good
This trade pipe has the bowl carved in the shape of a man' s head. It is possibly a European, given the evidence of the finely carved parted hair. A recumbent figure rests on a plinth along the stem of the pipe. This figure is genderless. The bowlof the pipe contains partially burnt matter, possibly tobacco. The stem is broken at the mouthpiece.; Good
A greener variety of argillite than usually encountered. The pipe is composed of three humanoid figures one of which clutches the bowl, and two whale-like creatures.; Good
Undecorated polished elbow pipe.; Good
Short pipe with a bird, possibly an Eagle, holding the bowl between its wings, and a sharp faced mammal touching the otherside of the bowl. The mouthpiece is held between the arms of a humanoid creature whose body extends along the base of the pipe.; Good
Broken fragment of a panel pipe bearing nonsensical creatures. The uppermost creature has a large toothy mouth, a rudimentary fin and its blowhole forms the pipe bowl, its fish-like body extends towards the mouthpiece. Below another creature, with unusual rounded eyes and a long thin tongue, appears to lack a body. The feathered back and long fingered arms and legs of a broken creature extends along the base of the pipe fragment. This pipe could possibly be the work of the Haida artist known as Long Fingers due to this characteristic of his style.(Gillian Crowther).; Good
Single standing figure of a European (possibly) man wearing carefully observed and carved clothing or uniform.; Good
Expertly carved model totem pole which accurately reproduces details of the wooden poles, e.g. the hollowed out rear of the pole. Small totem pole composed of an owl (possibly) at the top, a frog and a bear.
