Following the border are a thick red stripe and a thin yellow stripe. In the centre are burgundy and pink designs. One side depicts four burgundy sideways bird-like animals on a pink background, while the other depicts two pink quadrupedal animals standing on curly designs on a burgundy background. Along the bottom edge are alternating orange and pink tassels, with a larger tassel consisting of green (primarily) and yellow in the centre, and only green in the upper corner. Two threads are longer than the rest of the purse and hang from the bottom edge.

The bottom and left edges of the lace are the original edges of the veil, the top and right edges appear to have been cut. The weave of the lace is more dense towards the original edges.
