Base is similar to plain oval and monarch or erie oval bases with three curved sides and one straight side connected with rounded corners. Mold seams include: circular cup-bottom mold seam, two side mold seams extending up to within approximately 1" of the finish. Embossing on top of one side reads: "3viii". Maker's Mark on base reads: "M.B.W. CO". Made by Western Bottle Manufacturing Company in Chicago, IL. Dried sediment present on the inside of bottle. Iridescence and pen mark on the outside of bottle. There are a few bubbles present in the glass. J. Dougherty 03/19/2010
