Bag2981/8

Small woven basketry bag decorated with pink, yellow, and green wool bunches held together with string, beads and small white shells. Diamond shaped design in red and green fibre are woven into the body of the bag. An intermittent fringe of wool hangs from the bottom of the bag along with strands of grass. The shoulder strap consists of 5 twisted strands of grass attached in a knot with red and green wool.

Rectangular basketry bag woven in a diagonal pattern. Long grass fringe at both bottom and top. Decorated with multi-coloured fabric strips attached to bad with beaded and seed thread. The top three attachments also hold carved teeth. The handle is five twisted pieces joined together by a knot at top.

Chipped blade set in wood which is set in a cane shaft. Geometric designs outlined with string and accented with small discs (seeds or bones). Obsidian blade is a triangle in cross section and is flat along one edge while curving inward to create a point along the other edge. From the base of the point, the design is as follows: white diamond shapes surrounded by red; and three sets of four small discs along sets of red or white diamond shapes surrounded by black.
