Dress3295/13

Dress composed of two main fabrics - dark floral sleeves and a bright red and orange floral skirt. The chest and cuffs are heavily decorated with applique, embroidery, Government of Pakistan coins (some pounded), semi-translucent white buttons, metal decorations, and beading. Six red and white beaded tassels hang in front - two lower at centre, four longer tassels extending down from bottom row of coins. The hem of the skirt is a thick solid mauve, bordered by a thin band of green, and heavily embroidered in silver metal thread.

Blouse3295/11

Short top with long green sleeves, partially lined interior with brown fabric. The chest and cuffs are heavily decorated with applique, embroidery, Government of Pakistan coins (some pounded), semi-translucent white buttons, metal decorations, and beading. Four red and yellow beaded tassels hang in front - two at centre, two on the jacket's left. Small rectangular piece of blue and floral fabric is inside the garment at centre. The back is a solid burgundy.

Hair Tie2878/66 a-b

Pair of hair ties. At one end of each tie, the threads are woven together. At the base of the weave there are white beads alternating with pink and yellow fibre that is wrapped around the base threads. There are three sections of white beads and two sections of wrapped thread. Below the pattern of beads and wrapped thread there is a purple tassel and at the end of each tassel there is either a round metal disc or a white bead. Two wrapped sections emerge from the tassel; these sections again alternate between white beads and wrapped thread. At the end of each of the two wrapped sections there is a tassel, similar to that found in the centre of the tie. At the end of each of the threads of the tassels there is either a round, metal disc or a white bead.

Hair Tie2878/65 a-b

A pair of dark green cloth ties. Each tie is in three sections, each section made up of several strings, all of which are tied together at one end. At the opposite end from the knot, each of the three groups of strings are brought together and then wrapped in colourful thread with a different coloured pattern for each group. At the end of each section, below the colourful thread, are many smaller strings, each with a bead on the end. Two of the groups have blue beads, while one has white beads.

Earrings2878/23 a-b

Pair of cast silver earrings, each consisting of a curved ear hook soldered to a rectangular cast silver 'tablet' which is in turn hinged to a larger oval cast silver 'tablet'. This oval section, which forms the main body of the earring, has a silver cast 'feathered snake' design affixed over a red glass centre piece and a 'double scroll thunder pattern' etched around the perimeter. The upper rectangular section has a design of interlocking triangular shapes symbolizing the four directions. Three tapered, cylindrical -shaped ornaments hang by soldered eyelets and shot sections of linked silver chain from the bottom of the oval tablet, each of which has a design of three diamond shapes touching point to point.

Ring2878/22

Wide, silver band with three round, dangling ornaments. Around the band of the ring there is a floral or quatrefoil design. On the front of the ring there is a triangular, crown-like extension with a loop at the tip. There is also a loop at the base of the crown from which a ring and three dangles are hanging. The dangling ornaments are all round with a loop to attach onto the ring.
