Washi sample mounted horizontally on white, labelled and folded paper. The mount folds over partially from the right and has a prominent watermark of a three-pointed leaf above a scrolled 'M' on front and back. The sample is rectangular, translucent, thin, white/brown with a few dark flecks. Faint overall watermark pattern of closely spaced horizontal and widely spaced vertical lines. Upper and lower edges are cut straight, sides retain irregular deckle edges.
