The spear’s tip is long and pointed while the head is wide and carved through with a central line and two long holes on either side. Feathers are attached to the head by thongs. The body of the piece, both top and bottom, is painted with white cross-hatching and rust coloured circles.

The head is decorated with white pigment in vertical stripes and horizontal lines. Where the head meets the shaft is a thick, deeply cracked bulge of wood, wrapped with fibre at either end. The shaft is very long and curves in its lower portion. It is covered in a dark pigment.
Arm ring. The ring is made of woven reed and covered with black fibre, mud and white and rust coloured pigment. Several strands of twisted fibre are attached to one part of the ring by a small strip of cotton. The strands are divided into two bunches, each joined at the distal ends with a lump of mud that also holds a feather.
