Brown birch bark basket with an oval-shaped top and a rectangular bottom. Bark is bent and laced into place, with birch twine around the rim overcast with thin strips of root. A string handle is tied to either side of the rim.

Dark brown birch bark basket with an oval-shaped top and a square-shaped bottom--bark is bent and laced together with birch root. Splint around rim is overcast and then partially beaded with crabapple bark (4-5 stitches every 1-1 1/4 in).

Birch bark basket bent and laced into place. A twig splint ringing the rim is overcast, with wide stitches for reinforcement--seven blue opaque glass beads are laced onto the rim. The white side of the bark faces outwards, with a strip of brown bark running underneath the rim as reinforcement.

Model birch bark canoe with three cross-beams and one end covered in rawhide. Sides of the canoe have been dyed red, with a linear pattern marked into the bark near the top of the gunwales. A small black and brown carved wooden paddle is attached to one of the cross-beams with a fibre cord.
