Brown wooden mask painted with red and dark red design along the forehead and cheek areas. Eye and nose areas painted green which extends around the sides of the cheek areas. Dimple area painted with red hatch marks. Red mouth and cut out nostrils. Black eyebrows, moustache, and goatee. Ears painted with red downward diagonal lines. Eyes cut out. String through a hole in the middle of each ear and tied around the back. Adze marks visible inside.

Model Totem Pole1768/76

Model totem pole. Flat bevelled base attached with nails. From bottom to top, whale with tail flipped back into mouth and fin on top of head and raven with yellow beak. Ovoid, feather and hatched designs throughout pole. Varnished. Top figure might be a loon due to pattern around its neck; killer whale below.

Ceremonial ArrowA1140

Wooden arrow consisting of a cylindrical shaped handle with a semi-circular cutout at the end. The conical shaped head is split in two; the outside is painted black, while the inside is red. The handle has a red line pattern and a large staple in it.

Bentwood chest with lid. The chest base has a lip at the bottom, and is painted with formline designs in red and black on all four sides of the base. The lid (part b) has a rounded edge and a slight lip.

Bentwood ChestA8211 a-b

Rectangular bentwood box (part a) with lid (part b). The front and back are painted red and black in different designs. The front and back have complex designs. The sides have the same motif of vertical sets of ovoids and u-forms. Designs painted in black and red with stylized forms. The lid has decorative brass studs on three edges; the studs on the front are all gone, except one.

Basketry HatA1465

Basketry hat with primarily plain twined weave with some diagonal twined sections on the brim. Above the crown of the hat are a series of four cylindrical protrusions of plain twined weave around the sides of each, and twined and wicker weave on the underside of each with a hole in the topmost protrusion. Two bands of black on the brim and on the cylindrical protrusion below the topmost protrusion.

A dark wood ladle that has a deep bowl with a round bottom. The cylindrical handle is incised around both ends with soft diagonal grooves around the outer edges and a horizontal band made by two grooves further inward.
