Necklace. Many small handmade beads strung on a twisted cotton string. Each bead is similar in look with a tubular green-brown core encircled at centre by an attached white glass ring that has been flattened in several places to create indentations and points.

Long, rectangular cotton textile made of two panels sewn together down the middle. The design consists of a red band border by fine black and white strips on a brown ground. There is a twisted thread fringe on each end. There is a paper tag attached that reads: ‘Cloth [for women’s wrappers], Nupe, Bida, 1969’.

Writing tablet, or prayer board. A flat, rectangular wood piece with an half-circle handle at the top attached by an oval with a cut-out oval hole pierced in the middle. Smooth, worn wood. Arabic script painted on both surfaces in dark brown.
