Nephrite celt- refurbished; asymetrically shaped; whitish brown color; both faces ground and polished; rounded poll-one side of poll heavily diagonally beveled; one rounded straight side; bifacially beveled bit end; diagonal snap fracture; one face of bit end damaged (re-ground on damaged area); Von Krogh Type II Adze

Medium size grade

Adze appears to have been derived from lenticular cobble; slightly diagonal longitudinal break/split from poll to bit; portions of all in tact surfaces and single side completely ground and polished; rounded poll end-also exhibits battering (prob from use); in tact side is excurvate and slightly rounded; pian0-convex x-section, one surface relatively falt; bifacially beveled more invasively than opposite beveled side; 29.19mm abd 5.32mm respectively; bit edge is straight and estimated 35 mm wise unbroken specimen; thermal alteration absent; Von Krogh Type II

End struck

Rectangular blank; two lightly ground longitudinal edges; shorter edges at ends unground; both faces ground; slight beveling at end of one surface (bit end?)--opposite end of same surface also exhibits beveling but more abrupt/less invasive (poll end?)

Crushing on both ends (distal and proximal) both lateral margins exhibit single longitudinal quartz crystal facets; trapezoidal x-section; xs size grade

Alternate retouch on straight lateral margins converges to a point; tip where two alternately retouched edges converge is missing/broken; piercer; small size grade
