Into this is fitted a mid-section of carved wood which is pointed at both ends. A bamboo shaft (b) wrapped with sinew at both ends. The posterior end is notched. The anterior end forms a socket which fits over the lower point of the metal shaft.

Ostrich eggshell beads strung on sinew. A short sinew thread has one red glass trade bead and one eggshell bead attached to the necklace.

Curving, rectangular piece of leather bordered on three sides with a band of ostrich eggshell beads that is ten rows wide. Band is sewn to hide and traces of stitching also occur at the centre front top. Hide ties are sewn at the beaded ends.

A loop of stiff brown hide to which a piece of soft dark grey hide is attached. It is split into three strips, each terminating with a cowrie shell. The two pieces are secured together by a binding of leather stitched in place.

Miniature bow, simple curve, made of gemsbok horn. Bound at either end and at centre with sinew. Strung with twisted sinew, attached at both ends by knotted loop.

Quiver made of rolled piece of bark (part a), capped at either end with skin. One cap is fixed in place, and one is removable (part b). A doubled loop of strong rawhide is bound to quiver as handle by means of sinew. The centre of the quiver also bound with sinew.

Arrow with slender reed shaft, notched at end to fit bowstring and bound at either end with sinew. A point made of gemsbok horn is inserted in the socket at the end of the reed.
