Vertically rectangular wood piece. Eagle bird design carved in the centre. Eagle has a wide, red face that is outlined by dark blue with circular abalone shell inlaid eyes surrounded by a tapering red oval surrounded by a white ovoid outlined by dark blue. Downward curved, white beak is has a lower red lip with six oblong abalone shell inlaid teeth. The red body has a vertical row of four vertically, rectangular abalone shell inlaid pieces. The outward pointing, white claws have four downward pointing, red digits. The red side wings have downward pointing, dark blue outlined, white triangular feathers. The trapezoid-shaped tail is white. Six horizontal rows of upward pointing, dark blue outlined, white triangular shapes are at either side. The background is red. Rectangular abalone shell inlaid pieces are around the border with six at either side and seven along the top. The outer edges are white with a narrow vertical wood strip painted white attached at either side by leather skin.

Two pieces of square-like red cloth have hide fringe on three sides and hand stitched appliqued design of large black and orange 'x' at center, bordered by blue sawtooth strip and orange on black strips. White sawtooth border on three sides. Part (a) has white beads along top of center 'x'. Two long pieces of brown fabric attached to bottom fringe. One long fringe at each top corner. Part (b) has a red strip of fabric, and a blue strip of fabric with fibre and string attached, at right side, and one long strip of fibre on left. One long fringe at each top corner.

Stylized image of a house front. Gabled roof and outside supports in red-orange bands. House front design is bilaterally symmetrical. In the house, the profile ovoid heads meet at the centre with a large black ovoid in ovoid to the sides followed by a red split u in a black u form. Wing elements below. To the outside, at either side, there is a red split u in a black u form followed by two elongated u forms with split u's. To the inside, at either side, there is a black circle in circle with a red split u to the top and below in two wing segments. Towards the centre, there are black three-clawed limbs, orange s-shapes, and diamond shape leaf-like elements. At the centre, below the head, there are wedge shapes with four notches. At the bottom centre, there is a red ovoid with u forms with split u's on the top right, and the bottom left has vertically striped diamonds at the top left and the bottom right. Thin black line parallels the roof just above it with vertical, s-curved lines running vertically up from it and having three evenly spaced on each gable, with the central three lines intertwined. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge '22/80 9/11/76 HOUSE OF EAGLES Roy Henry Vickers TSIMSHIAN TRIBE KITKATLA B.C.'. The print is on a horizontally rectangular, brown paper stock.

Stylized image of a house front. Gabled roof and outside supports in red-orange bands. House front design is bilaterally symmetrical. Door at the centre bottom has six vertical red lines and a cross shaped star in a domed section above. Matching star at top of the gable. Large profile face in black line above and to sides of door. Has a short snout; open mouth, even teeth rows with triangular canines, and a red segmented tongue between. Ovoid eyes and a red split u on the cheek. Other major elements include a large ovoid to the sides at the top with black concentric ovoids at the centre. Series of red u forms, split u's, and s-shape below in a rectangular black section. Black and red u forms and split u sections across the bottom. Black ovoid below the head at either side. Series of evenly spaced ovoids along the gables. Steeply notched red horizontal line across the top of the print above the house. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads '19/80 6/10/76 HOUSE OF WOLVES Roy Henry Vickers TSIMSHIAN TRIBE KITKATLA B.C.HEBREWS 11:10'. The print on a horizontally rectangular, brown paper stock.

Large rectangular yellow cedar panel, with a centre circular relief carving with painted orange-red primary form lines, black secondary form lines and anatomical features; negative space in and around carving is oiled. Image: two black side bands have frontal orange-red frogs with splayed bodies on either side of head, subtle differences in depiction of each frog. Central image: combines bird and mammal features; top half is frontal mammal's head with double split u ears, heavy bent brows, square-like pupils in pointed eyelid lines, broad flat snout joined to top of continuous lip band, six wide rectangular upper teeth; pointed beak joins bottom lip band, split u nostrils, wings, angled on either side of beak, have identical frontal animalistic faces, beside each face is a three claw foot. Signed at bottom corner on right: Bob/87, the letter D is carved over the letter B. Numerous tiny holes and oil spots along bottom edge.

Incised and painted partial profile wolf head; upturned horn-like image at top front of snout; oval nostril with two pointed extensions at side on right; large circular pupil in downturned pointed eyelid lines; front and back tips of brow, remainder broken away, continuous lip band around bared rectangular teeth; at right of mouth is a red semi-circle with two black s curves on either side of a black triangle; vertical curved black line at right of semi-circle has black and red scallop-like design; series of red scallop-like designs continue to end of plank; the impressions of three vertical pointed sticks, which were once nailed to the plank, remain, as does one vertical band at centre; vertical row of nails at edge on right; bottom edge and edge on left are bevelled and painted; edge on right is unfinished and top edge has deteriorated; cracking over surface.

Clayoquot SerpentNb11.291

Mask made from cut out planks of wood formed in a triangular-shape with flat sides, a thin adjoining nose piece and rectangular shaped pieces of wood at the back. Detailed in blue, black and red stylized forms is a lightning serpent with a carved snout which is painted black along with the eyebrow and mouth. The large red eyes are outlined in blue. The mouth has red teeth bared. Attached to the top of the mask are long, thin strips of cedar that hang down to cover the head of the wearer. Incised in the inner side is: ‘Clayoquot serpent headdress, J. David, 80’.

Raven Travelling with SculpinNb22.80

Symmetrical design is predominantly black with red detail. All images are contained in a basically rounded rectangle. There is a head at the top centre protruding from the bottom, a horizontally elongated frontal face with a protruding tongue and a salmon-trout head eye motif, and a small frontal face with three split u's above up to the ovoid with a nearly solid inner ovoid. Frontal face at the top has a series of six split u's along the top of the head with a triangle shape below the chin. Two profile faces are on either side with a red curled s-shape above the teeth row and having the tail come to a point and the forelimb go to the centre. Pencil inscription across the bottom reads '207/225 Raven travelling with Sculpin Dempsey Bob '79'. There are three embossed marks along the bottom edge, from the right: 'The Gallery Collection', a circle with a vertical line, and a discontinuous horizontal line. The print is on a vertically rectangular, near white paper piece with a deckle edge top and bottom.
