Circular basket (a) with flat bottom and flat topped lid (b). Bottom has small area of cedar checker work and twining. Body and lid are wrapped twined with a reinforced cedar hoop rim. Outer running weft is grass. The warp and inner running weft are sedge fibre. All the grass is dyed for body and lid with blue background and bands of yellow and pink, and alternating yellow and red birds. Centre of lid is blue with yellow and pink rings and birds.

Lid has same geometric motif and circles in assorted colours around solid blue circle at centre. Exterior is faded; interior shows original red, blue, yellow, orange and black.

Lid has matching geometric motifs and circles of assorted colours around knob; exterior faded and interior colours include blue, yellow, orange and black.
