The overcast stitch forms a scallop - the colour sequence is as follows: red/purple/wide band of natural/purple/red/purple/wide band of natural/purple. The darker part of the bark is to the outside.

Wooden spoon with long, oval-shaped bowl and long handle. The handle is bent in the middle and narrows slightly towards a squared end. The top of the handle is flat but rounded underneath, creating in cross-section a half circle. The spoon is a reddish brown colour and darkened on the bottom of the bowl from use.

Spoon carved from alder wood with leaf-shaped bowl. At one end the bowl curves upwards and bends to form the straight handle. The end of the handle is rounded and a hole has been drilled in it. The bottom of the spoon is rounded with one small flat area. The spoon is a dark reddish brown colour.

Short sides have vertical pattern of diamonds on imbricated background of alternating cat-tail grass (?), dark and red cherry bark. Long sides have same design but two rows of diamonds. Foot is beaded in dark cherry bark. Rim is imbricated in cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark.

Bentwood box with four painted panels, and an unpainted removable lid (part b) with sides that bevel inwards towards the bottom. Two of the opposite sides of the box have similar designs formed in continuous black primary form lines and red secondary lines. On an adjacent side is a bird figure with an ovoid body painted in black and red. The last side is painted with two ovoids joined by a line, all in red.

Wooden ladle with leaf-shaped bowl and long handle with squared end. The handle becomes narrower towards the top and has an oval shaped indentation at its base. The underside of the ladle's bowl slopes to reach a gentle centre point. Many tools marks are visible on the inside of the bowl, which may have been coated with a grease or oil substance. The ladle is dark reddish-brown.
