Dance DrumA6901 a-b

Circular, handheld drum made from hide stretched over a wooden frame. Drum has four lengths of wire across the back with cloth covering the centre juncture, forming a handle. Drumstick (part b): head of drumstick covered with black cloth; small section next to head painted green.

BasketA6358 a-c

Cedar bark basket with no seams (sides have collapsed). Inside the basket were found fragmented strands of dentalium shell, blue beads, and bark (now grouped as part b); and a large quantity of loose dentalium shells and fragments (now grouped as part c).

Jug3644/3

Small salt-glazed jug with handle on side. Jug has a circular opening with a pouring lip that extends out from side opposite loop handle. Exterior of jug is slightly ridged; more pronounced across interior. Opening of jug curves inward slightly to globular centre; centre rounds out into a cylindrical body with a flat foot. Jug is light grey with a light blue band around middle; dark brown speckles and lighter brown coating across exterior. Square filled with diagonal zigzags stamped into blue band, underneath pouring lip. Artist pottery studio mark, a slug, stamped along bottom edge of jug, underneath handle; "R6" inscribed on base, below artist mark.

Brightly-coloured silkscreen print of an eagle's face in profile facing right. The eagle's face covers most of the print, with a bright blue background in the corners and under the beak. The yellow and red beak curves downward at the end, with a narrow triangular shape dividing the upper half of the beak. There is a nostril just after the start of the beak, and the tongue is visible pointing forwards inside the open beak. The beak has white highlights along the top. The lower half of the beak has white triangular feathers along the bottom. Under the curve of the beak, there is a pattern of two ovoid shapes and curved outlines in lighter blue against the bright blue background. The face ranges from purple to blue, with a darker eye socket. The eyelid is red, with a detailed brown iris and highlights. There are two horizontal purple feathers edged with white behind the eye, with a red elongated triangle dividing them. The rest of the feathers above the face and down the back are black with fluid white strokes and white points. Signed "Chazz Mack '18" in pencil, print 73/100.

Small rectangular weaving with decorative panel down centre; left and right sides of hanging bordered with white bands. Panel has alternating stripes in white and light pink; cream lines in between each set of stripes. Sets of two small triangles in centres of stripes; triangles in white stripes pointing down, triangles in pink pointing upward. Large dark brown triangles point inward from either side of stripes. Blue 'Salish Weaving' tag sewn to back.

Small rectangular weaving, meant to hang vertically from loops along top edge; groupings of short fringe extend from bottom of hanging. Large geometric panel down centre of white weaving, with zigzagging edges; outlined in light grey. Panel divided into three sections: top and bottom are done in shades of yellow, centre is olive green. Yellow sections decorated with large dark brown chevrons, pointing towards centre of weaving; middle section has outline of a brown diamond. Blue 'Salish Weaving' tag sewn to back.

Old wooden loom with two upright support posts (parts a-b) and one rolling bar (part c). The support posts are rectangular in shape with one tapered end. Each post has two rectangular cutout holes near each end. On one post (part a), there is a small rectangular piece of wood nailed across the lower cutout hole near the tapered end. The cylindrical bar (part c) has been painted.

Silver napkin ring. Engraved animal (whale, or sea mammal?) design covers the outer surface, with cross-hatched background. The design is bordered at the top and bottom by a vertical, tightly packed linear design, all the way around. Engraved inscription on inside.
