Tall stone bowl with rounded base; made from light grey stone. Bowl has slightly curved lip, is cone-shaped, and has a shallow well. Three carved faces around middle of bowl; bordered with five rings on top and four below. Identical faces consist of oval-shaped eyes, curved eyebrows, rotund cheeks, flat triangular noses, and open mouths. All design elements carved in relief.
Double-walled basketry hat with root exterior and cedar bark interior; hat is dome-shaped, with an indented top that has a plaited square of cedar bark. Top and bottom edges are trimmed with twined bands; one along top, two along bottom. Three decorative bands across exterior (from top to bottom): alternating purple and yellow diagonal lines, trimmed with alternating yellow and blue vertical lines; yellow steps on a purple ground; and alternating green and yellow diagonal lines. Interior lined with three yellow bands trimmed with dark purple; top band is darker yellow, bottom two are same shade. Hat band woven into interior.
Northwest Coast style stone bowl. Bowl has a seal or sea lion design; stone is dark grey, and blackened in areas. Bowl is oval-shaped and has a very shallow well; no lip and no foot, base is rounded. Seal or sea lion design is on front of bowl and consists of wide circular eyes, an inverted V-shaped mouth, and two circular protrusions on either side of face; all features done in relief.
Northwest Coast style stone bowl. Stone is speckled grey, white, and pink. Small bowl is rotund with a shallow well; lip is curled inward, and bowl has no foot. Diagonal lines carved in relief along exterior of walls; rest of bowl is undecorated. Orange marks across bottom of interior.
Letter opener with totem pole design. From top, the carved figures are: bird with separately carved and attached wings spread; seated wolf or bear. 'Victoria. B.C.' written on the blade.
Woven hat with interior woven headband. The domed hat has a flat top with a four large squares woven at centre. There are five decorative bands: the top three are purple=grey and off-white on the exterior (faded purple and dark blue), and the lower two are dark brown. Above the rim and lower dark brown band is a large strip of cedar bark woven in.
Speaking staff. The carved figures are: a killer whale, eagle with folded wings, seated wolf, and raven with long down-turned beak and folded wings. The lower section is plain and cylindrical, slightly tapering in towards the base.
Small, cuff-style silver bracelet with face-like design across exterior. Face consists of thick brows, eyes on either side of a wide nose, and an open, grinning mouth; made up of engraved and cross-hatched formline elements. Cross-hatched triangles on either side; ends of bracelet are rounded and are decorated with incised split-U's. The central area appears to have the letter G inside a design element.
Very small translucent spoon made from an eagle beak. Wide, thin bowl with a short pointed handle. The handle tip is carved with what appears to be a small human figure wearing a robe.
Deep painted tray that is divided into four compartments. The sides of the tray flare out from the square base. The interior bottom of the tray is painted with a black design, a circle within four corners with a four point star at centre, partially covered by the divivder. One wall of the divider has a curved upper edge that extends above the sides of the tray and has a hole drilled through it with a fabric tie attached. The sides of the tray and the divider have all been painted with formline designs in black, red and green.
