The vase is light grey with tiny dark brown speckles. Flat unglazed bottom with incised artist's mark.

He is depicted wearing a parka with its hood down, thick pants, and mittens. The figures stand on an irregular oval-shaped base with 'E9937' inscribed on the bottom.
