The short standing collar has gold braid around the edges. The side opening border has embroidered peony, coin and endless knot motifs on a blue ground, edged with gold braid and pink floral trim. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

A piece cut from one piece of jade into three interlocking sections. The top section has the shape of a closed four-lobed hook. The centre section is elaborately carved on both sides with human figures and floral motifs. The bottom section is carved with a rectangular box, and what looks to be two books among leaves?

The border around the edges has bamboo and chrysanthemum motifs on blue ground with turquoise trim. There are tin reflectors, green glass eyes and white fur on the front and back. The inside lining is white cotton with a blue circular pattern.

There is a stopper (part b) that is made of green, and white jade. The wood stand (part c) has the shape of an oval, and has four legs.

A small snuff bottle (part a) that has a high relief design in red, consisting of a dragon in flight amongst clouds on one side, and a phoenix amongst clouds on the other side. There is an orange stopper (part b).
