Sitting griffin (legendary animal) in blue grey glaze with horn at the top of his head. The griffin has a ferocious expression with its mouth open to reveal its teeth and fangs. Its head is turned to its left all the way around to face behind its body. The tail is curved around to its left hind leg. The whites of its spinal points are visible along its back.
Ceramic Bodhidharma figure (part a) dressed in a red robe with light brown streaks, and a yellow hood. Unmarked. With wood stand (part b).
Blue and white double vase with wooden stand (part b). The vase has a flat base, double rounded body, short neck and narrow mouth. The lower body rounds into a narrow middle, before rounding out to form a smaller upper body. The vase has circular motifs of phoenixes in flight, surrounded by floral and scrollwork borders. All designs are blue on white ground.
Rectangular table (part a) with scroll-footed legs and two drawers (b and c). The drawers are made to appear as part of the paneled apron. Parts d and e are wooden slats that have become detached: part e fits next to the side of the table, and part d is the next slat inwards towards the centre of the table.
Rectangular wooden box with dovetail joints, a hinged lid and a lock. Lid features a carved landscape scene with polychrome ivory figures--all are elaborately carved, painted, and gilded. Inside, the underside of lid is covered with padded silk and the bottom is covered with grey velvet; the silk padding is marked "Arthur and Bond Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Yokohama." There may have been a tray inside at one time.
White, circular porcelain plaque (a) with an orange dragon, an orange fish, green clouds, white waves and green water; the dragon is flying and reaching towards the fish swimming in the waters. Plaque is framed with red-brown wood in a circular frame with floral, curvilinear, filigree-like carving. Matching filigree-like carved stand (b) with six feet supports the plaque.

Wooden plaque with dragons in flight decorating the edges. Centre of plaque has golden characters addressed to General Kuan-ti (General of Three Kingdoms). All in relief. Predominant colours gold, blue, green and red. Executed in four detachable parts, all fitting into a matching carved base. Paper label on reverse reads: "Made in China."
Pair of red, gourd-shaped vases (a-b) with lids (c-d) in the form of a stem with large, golden leaves. Each vase has two sets of curvilinear handles protruding from opposite sides. White jade gourds, crests and arabesque designs in relief decorate the entire surface. Predominant colours are red, gold and white.
Rectangular screen (b) and matching stand (a), all in relief on red lacquer. Front of screen features a garden scene with pine tree, rocks and scholars; a camellia spray with a tropical bird adorns the reverse. The stand is elaborately carved with floral motifs.
