Vertical rectangular box made of coloured paper laid over a bamboo frame. Box has two red vertical bars across the top--four paper fish silhouettes are laid across the bars, with an additional fish glued to the box in the background, creating a sense of depth. Across the top of the box is a wide strip of red paper printed with gold circular shapes with characters in the centre. Two red paper pennants fly from the top corners of the box.
Light brown-yellow coloured woven basket (part a) with rectangular base, bulbous-shaped centre, two shoulders and twisted bamboo handles narrowing sharply to flared neck. The top rim of the piece is in the form of a circle and has split bamboo strips projecting inwards to form a funnel opening for the lid (part b).
Long cylindrical wooden piece that has been shaved slightly inwards at one end. Other end is slightly rounded and entire surface has a smooth finish with well defined carving marks.
Long metal sword made from linked coins and secured with red and yellow fibre. Top of sword has a metal rod protruding from its end and is connected to a short row of stacked coins. Above the row of stacked coins is a coiled piece of fibre with two extending strands. A larger rectangular-shaped composition of coins follows and is linked to a long line of double-sided single overlapping coins. Five coins are attached to the tip of the piece with orange coloured wire.

Connected to the widest part of the piece and the tip of the sword is a double strand of red fibre cording.
Red gold and black human figure (part a) sitting cross-legged on a lotus flower--figure wears a headdress, flowing, open robes, and has both hands laid palm-up, one on top of the other, in her lap. Figure has a large rectangular hole on the back exposing the cavity within. Figure sits on a square red wooden base (part b)--faded paper glued to the front of base features an inscription that reads: "...commonly called The Goddess of Mercy...."

A white-yellow, elliptical container (part a) with a rectangular and a square compartment. The rectangular compartment houses a rectangular seal of the same material (part c) with characters and a landscape scene engraved and painted on the front and one side--a rounded, elliptical lid for the container (part b) has a similar image depicted on the top. Red ink stains are visible within the container and on the bottom of the seal. The entire container is housed in an embroidered rectangular box with a clear plastic window in the lid.
