Embroidered textile in the shape of a Chinese character. The textile is light blue with red edges. The embroidery shows several different scenes of figures as well as cloud, peony, lotus, chrysanthemum and mountain motifs. The back is unlined.

Embroidered floral applique, adhered to a sheet of yellow-white paper. In the centre is a round, blue and white vase, above the vase are many dark blue, blue and white flowers, with a red background. Beneath the vase are blue and white ribbons and a red-blue tassel.

Small black jacket with high mandarin collar, wide sleeves and side opening with frog closures. There are slits in the sides and back. The inside lining is mauve.

Cream silk underskirt. The skirt has a narrow cotton waistband with two long thin ties. There are two skirt panels gathered at the waistband. The inside is unlined.

Rectangular piece of ecru-coloured cotton with red character painted on it: three characters across the top, two characters down the centre, and a smaller character enclosed in a rectangle in lower left hand corner.

Elongated, rectangular, white silk belt backed with white cotton. Belt is covered with blue sequins, gold sequins, and clear tube-shaped beads arranged in representations of birds. Four large tabs of fabric hang from the belt, two from the bottom and two from the top directly over the lower tabs; tabs feature sequin bird imagery matching that of the main belt. Belt is secured with two metal eye and hook fasteners. Strips of bird skin with white fluffy down line the ends of the belt.

Slightly curved, pearl-coloured silk with loosely scalloped edges backed by white cotton. Silk is covered with scrolling lines of red sequins bordered by clear tube-shaped beads.

Pink silken hood with black scalloped embroidery around the edges; general black and grey embroidery in large geometric motifs. An extra piece of scalloped pink material with embroidery is sewn along the upper edge of the hood, creating a tiara-like effect. Lined with white cotton.

An ornament that is made of clear cut circular glass (?) pieces attached with metal. From the top hook, there is an isosceles triangle made out of ten of these pieces. From this triangle, there dangles three interconnected sets each made out of ten of the same pieces, connected at the third and the sixth pieces with two extra pieces in between the sixth row. Chinese opera accessory most likely from the 1920's.

Two (parts a-b) ornamental pieces that are made of clear cut circular glass (?) pieces attached with metal. Each piece has a flower shape with three central clear cut circular glass (?) piece surrounded by nine others around the inner perimeter and fourteen more around the outer perimeter.
