Round, foliated bowl with raised, flared foot ring. Decoration is in blue on grey ground. Interior has decoration on lines around the rim; exterior has band of downward pointing triangles at rim, decorations in two areas of curved cursory lines and dots.
Large, deep mortar with glazed outer surface and unglazed interior. Exterior is decorated with small area of black marks on mustard ground; interior has crosshatched diagonal lines incised into surface.
Dish with flared sides on raised foot ring. Grey-green glaze with cursory brushed flourishes and concentric circles of darker green. Unglazed ring above foot reveals reddish body.
Tubular shaped pot with body indented from base. Lid is the same width as the base. Outer surface and lid are engraved with scrimshaw technique. Scene of mountains, willow tree, dragon and human on outside. Lid has a circle with figure in boat. Circle is surrounded by a circle of joo head design.
A metal chain with seventeen charms attached: three amber beads; one amber ingot; one jade ring; one jade bead; two coins with square holes; a piece of coral; a jade disc with a round hole; one carved peach kernel; a carved monkey holding a peach; a jade Buddha's hand; a jade lotus; a pilgrim's gourd; a silver, and bird claw sword; and a bird's beak mounted with silver.
Ceramic teapot (part a) with lid (part b). Teapot has square base and grooved foot. On each of the four surfaces at bottom, there is a row of three rising blade cicada motifs. The teapot form curves outward into baluster shape. Just below the shoulder, a moulded band of k'uei dragons is interrupted by squared spout springing from a monster mouth. Opposite, there is a handle with a zoomorphic design. Rounded shoulder flattens to square collar. Fitting within is the flange of a slightly domed square lid, surmounted by a hare. On base is white paper label printed in blue with intricately entwined initials in European style: possibly "W.W.W."
Hexagonal-shaped teapot (part a) with lid (part b). Teapot tapering slightly outwards from flat base supported at intersections of adjoining planes by low feet. Unglazed body is a lustrous dark red-brown. Hexagonal spout, yoke handle rising from flat shoulders ornamented by moulded scrolling band. Sides consist of two alternating designs on moulded panels with both being variations of fish-dragons on waves. Flat lid with design of three dragons has flange fitting snugly within short hexagonal collar.
Lotus pod shape, light yellow-brown with movable seeds, supported on its side by an extremely dark caltrop nut. Other nuts in varying shades of brown are scattered on the surface in high relief. Four characters impressed beside a small hole in the side.
Brown teapot (part a) and lid (part b). In a compressed globular form in the shape of two lotus pads with incised veining, joined at the edges in a waving line. Short spout in form of stem, opposite handle also shaped as stem. Lid flush with surface of pot has a handle formed with adjoining decoration of lotus pads in high relief, flower in low relief. The is a circular impression on the base with seven small holes. There is an impressed mark in seal characters on inner surface.
Dragon's head carved at one end of buckle. The dragon's body curves slightly upward and is carved with a floral design. Back is smooth with a rounded raised knob.
