Spear1157/2

Metal-tipped spear with wooden shaft. The spear tip has been inserted into a split in the top of the shaft, and has been secured with cord that has been woven around the shaft. Tip of spear is pointed and sides are rounded.

Curved metal blade that comes to a point and has three protrusions and two holes near its base. The handle is cylindrical with a slight curve near the top to fit a hand, and has an elliptical protrusion at the top with a welded ferrule where the handle joins the blade.

A brown mask with fused dark brown upraised eyebrows, semi-oval cut out eyes with hooded eyelids, a curved nose with the nostrils cut out, and an open cut out mouth outlined with zigzags on the lips. The ears are circular knobs, and the cheeks are carved with a horizontal rectangular design. The headdress is made with plant fibre and leaf covered with dark brown and red fabric with a pony-tail at the top.

Wood mask painted with a white face outlined with dark brown. Flat circular dark brown headdress at top with two horn-like pieces curving up and backward. Small carved ears, mouth and nose. Brown oval eyes with holes cut out underneath. Dark bown line down middle of forehead to nose and curved up over the eyebrows. Dark brown cheeks. Holes made along sides of mask. String tied around the back of the headdress.

Brown, wooden, carved, female humanoid figure--figure is kneeling and holding both arms vertically against her chest. Figure has an elongated skull that protrudes backwards, long breasts, a distended stomach with three raised, ribbed, curved lumps on it and a circular protrusion in the centre. Figure wears a fibre cord around the front of the waist.

A mask-like ivory carving with a hole drilled horizontally at the top to enable it to be a pendant. The head is widest at eye level with large closed eyes. There is a large nose, and a pointed chin with a small beard. There is a four-pointed headdress. An inscription on the left cheek reads "AE.823". (Plastic string detached.)
