Model Totem PoleA2209

Model totem pole carved of wood depicting two animal figures. The lower figure is an animal head with large round eyes, a two-triangle nose and triangular teeth. The details are emphasized through use of block engraving. The second animal figure sits on top of the first. It has a prominent forehead, round eyes and a protruding snout filled with triangle teeth. The figure is holding his arms up to his chin, his feet in front.

Painted wood paddle with a design of an eagle lying on its back on both sides of the blade. The eagle is painted in black with white details and red feet. The remainder of the paddle is painted green, except for the end of the handle and a small area above the blade which are in the natural wood colour.

Small silver bracelet with an engraved eagle design. The eagle head is depicted in the centre of the band with wings spread. Each wing has three feathers. There is a crosshatching behind the eagle's head and between its wings. There is also a set of small triangular designs at the back of band, one on each side. The band fastens at the back with a hook that latches through a rectangular opening.

Human-like figure made of heavy off-white wool. There is a hot pink nylon georgette scarf tied around the body, with a Canadian one dollar bill tucked into it. Flat, circular rattle made of copper. The rattle has long fringes of wool threaded around its sides and handle. The copper has been hammered and beaten into shape. Holes have been drilled along the edges to insert the wool fringe.

Rattle made from bent wood with engraved designs in faded red colour. The head of the rattle is triangular in shape. The handle is wrapped in wool. The top of the rattle and the base of its handle are also fringed with wool.
