Small, spherical, hollowed out brown gourd with a small hole at the top with a stalk-shaped bundle of copper wire tucked into it. The gourd is shallowly carved with a stylized, all over plant and abstract linear design, revealing several shades of brown.

A clown with a white face and a stub nose. The eyes, mouth, and nostrils are cut out and are lined with red. The eyelashes and eyebrows are black. There is a pink tongue with white teeth. The face has red sideburns, and a red arrow-like decoration at either sides. A silver diamond outlined with red is painted on the forehead.

An animal mask (bear or dog?). The ears are white and the face is light blue with a white line painted down the middle of the head going around the red mouth and tongue. The white teeth are carved with four fangs. The nose and chin are dark blue and the eyes are carved out.

Dark brown clay whistle in the shape of a parrot with a loop on the back for a cord to pass through--details are incised. The parrot's tail is the mouthpiece, with the exit hole being located at the back of the parrot's neck.

Reverse appliqué blouse panel or mola that is precise and finely stitched. The design consists of a cat with a split tail in the centre of a six point star. Surrounding the star various geometric shapes. The designs are outlined in black, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple on a red ground. The panel has black backing fabric and the bottom surface edge is lined with an orange floral fabric. Three edges are raw.

Reverse appliqué cotton blouse panel or mola that is precise and finely stitched. The panel is made of two smaller panels stitched together at the centre. The design consists of central repeating cross design outlined in yellow with a triangle pattern along the sides, a rectangular zigzag pattern along the ends and abstract shapes in the middle. The shapes are outlined in black with yellow, blue, pink and green detailing all on a red ground. The panel has a black fabric backing with a red boarder that has a rectangular section of orange, blue, green, yellow and grey stripes. Two edges are raw.

Devil Mask1221/1

K'usillo, or devil mask. Hood-like, two sided, grey devil head mask with stuffed rolls of fabric which are sewn in a group at top of the head, and sewn down on both sides for nose and ears. Eyes and mouth cut out and edges embroidered. Embroidered on head, face, base of mask, and along edges. One side has astral and vegetal motifs, the other is vegetal. Stuffed rolls on head also decorated with coloured stitching, and wrapped with thread in a thick band on each. Rolls representing corn or feathers are connected together with red and blue thread. Fringe at ends of rolls and on ears and nose.
