A metal spoon that has a round bowl with a handle that is covered with ovals, dots, and lines in a symmetrical relief design. The wide handle has a main design that consists of five pairs of side-by-side, horizontal ovals in decreasing size from top to bottom. Each pair of ovals is connected by an upraised horizontal line across them. At each corner and in between each pair of ovals, there is a dot, creating six dots around each pair to total thirty dots. Another upraised horizontal line across separates each pair of ovals, all of which are bordered by an upaised vertical rectangle with perpendicularly incised lines across its flat edges. The base of the handle next to the bowl of the spoon has a diamond shape with a rounded circle at the centre surrounded by tiny dots and bordered by an outward pointing upraised line at either side with horizontal incised lines across its flat edges. Antique.

Part a is a long tassel with sections of black and white leather strips bound at the top and base of the tassel's handle. In the centre of the handle, there are sections of yellow, black, and red fibre wrapped around a grass(?) underlay. Long fringe covers an additional leather tubular piece with additional fringe. Part b is a belt bent in the shape of a circle and is secured at two overlapping ends by leather bands. Opposite side has two overlapping sections of black and white leather strips woven together.

Weft comb (a) is made of four pieces that are fitted together as a frame and are tied with cord. The teeth in the centre of the wooden frame appear to be made of split bamboo. Braided fibre cording is attached to each end of the frame and is secured with knots. The bobbin (b) is boat-shaped and dug out in the centre. Missing shaft and reel.

At the top of the page in the middle, the title reads: "ADINKRA SYMBOLISM" and is followed by paragraphs of small printed text. There are 60 different Adinkra symbols drawn on the page, in four vertical rows of rectangular boxes that have both a symbol on the left side and a paragraph of small printed text on the right side. In the centre, there is a larger rectangular graphic entitled: "ADINKRA CLOTH" that shows a drawing of an example of an Adinkra textile, with geometric rectangular bands on the perimeter and triangular and circular forms in the centre.
