Kente cloth composed of twenty-three hand woven cloth strips. The strips have been stitched together along the long edge and have embroidered designs overtop. Each strip has a multi-coloured checkered pattern; done in black, yellow, red, green and blue. The embroidered designs in the centre of the cloth consist of rectangular blocks, plain stripes, ladder-like stripes and geometric motifs; done in dark yellow, black, dark red, blue, green, and light orange. Left and right edges are covered entirely in embroidery, consisting of a rectangular block design. Blocks are filled with horizontal and vertical stripes, checkers, and parallelogram-like shapes; done in dark orange, dark red, dark yellow, green, yellow, dark blue and light pink. Kente cloth composed of five hand woven cloth strips. The green strips have been stitched together along the long edge, and then embroidered with designs. At each end there are five rectangles across by five rectangles down each strip. The centre of the cloth has groups of three rectangles with embroidered designs spread out. Uneven fringed ends.

Kente cloth composed of four hand woven cloth strips. Each strip has a wide white band flanked by two smaller white bands running down the length of a dark blue background. The strips have been stitched together along the long edge, and then embroidered with designs within small rectangles. Every second rectangle, offset from the neighbouring column, contains an embroidered band of red, flanked by gold, and then light green in horizontal bands. Fringed ends.

The entire cloth is covered in rectangles of designs with more of the blue background showing through in the centre area. Short blue fringed ends.

Two piece dress- shirt (part a) and long skirt (part b)- with long belt or sash (part c). Black zigzag design across all parts. Inside zigzags are blue, pink and light brown V shapes in rows, outlined in black. Shirt has three quarter length bell sleeves. Two pleats down front and back, giving top a flared waist. Zipper running down entire back. Hook clasp above zipper. Interior of top, except sleeves, lined with white cotton. Neckline and cuff interiors lined with black cotton. Skirt has drawstring waist, ties at centre back. Two pleats running down left and right sides of skirt. Black cotton lining along interior of waistline. Back of sash or belt lined with black cotton. All pieces of dress are hemmed.

Two piece dress: top (part a) and long skirt (part b). Both parts are made of fabric with the same design. Shirt and skirt are off-white with wavy light brown lines. Overtop are grid squares, outlined in dark brown, olive green and orange patterned lines. Inside the squares are olive green and orange geometric shapes, outlined in dotted dark brown lines. Shirt has high neckline, with rounded collar and short puffed sleeves. Closed with five, cloth covered plastic buttons on front. Shirt has tapered waist and white cotton interior lining- except in the sleeves. Skirt has drawstring waist, ties at centre back. Long slit ends halfway up back of skirt. Interior unlined. All parts of dress are hemmed.

Fertility figure (akuaba) with a flat, disc-shaped head sitting on a long cylindrical neck that slightly curves forward. The lower rounded portion of the face has small horizontal oval eyes with a slit across the middle, two horizontal lines on each cheek, and a small smiling mouth. The raised oval forehead extends down into a long vertical nose and arched brow ridge. The upper edge has a raised arch. The abstract conical arms mimic the shape of the small pointed breasts. The lower half of the body is cylindrical, with an inward bend on the lower back, ending with an anvil-shaped base.

Robe made up of many horizontal strips of cloth sewn together into a single piece of fabric. This is folded and sewn to create a tube-like garment. Weave is tight, fabric is thick, with a blue and white checker pattern overall, decorated with flower motifs at the edges. At middle is an area of high patterning, showing diamond shapes and wavy lines set in strips. At each end of the robe is an attached set of twisted tassels.

Large textile has a dark blue base with thin white lines running horizontally. Several thicker diagonal lines made of small red and yellow stitched squares cross to make large ‘x’ shapes across the textile. Heavy silk embroidery sits at each end, showing a variety of patterns in evenly spaced blocks: long vertical lines, short horizontal lines, and lines made up of small stitches, all in yellow, red and green.
