The sides are decorated with three raised cherry blossom designs, with the branch of each extending down to form each of the three feet. There is one inset rectangular panel with a raised design. Silver urn-shaped container (part a) with lid (part b). The body tapers inwards from a wide shoulder, and is decorated with bamboo. The lid inserts within the tall neck of the container. It has a wide cap, and holes surrounding the central knob. There are three makers' marks on the base, including WH. 90.

A headdress (part a) made of inlaid iridescent bright blue and darker blue-purple kingfisher feathers outlined with metal in a floral pattern. Also decorated with red, green, and white pompoms. The veil is strands of long white beads accentuated with red and green beads. A metal rectangle (part b) has come unhinged from the headdress. There is a dark blue feather (part c) and a turquoise feather (part d) which were in a folded piece of paper containing the manufacturer's information.

The upper portion of the hat is stiffened with cardboard and decorated with white plastic beads and two rows of red pompoms with white stripes. The sequined design has large peonies in orange surrounded by gold on the front and back, with a similar border around the lower edge. There are two black ties attached at the bottom. The inside has an internal wire support and is lined with white cotton. Part b is a red pompom with a white stripe attached to a long metal loop.

Blue robe with a round neck, tapered sleeves with hoof cuffs and a side opening with brass frog closures. There are slits in the centre front and back. The collar border has a gold peony motif on a red ground, edged with gold braid and pink trim. The cuffs have gold braid outside and black cotton lining inside. The robe lining is natural-coloured linen.
