Pants1300/1 a-b

Long, cotton pants (parts a) decorated with alternating bands of purple, red, green and blue diagonal checks and purple, green and blue y-shapes on a pink ground. The bands run horizontally on a cream and orange and red vertically striped ground. The top is raw. Over the pants are black chaps (part b) that wrap around the waist and through the legs and are held together by two sets of four buttons. The side panels are triangular in shape and hang down the outer leg.

The panels are decorated in bands with a chevron, zigzag, triangular and lozenge patterns in red, green, grey, dark blue and yellow on a blue ground. The sides of the huipil are sewn. The middle has a vertical slit opening and there are two small openings on the sides. The back edge is raw.
