Wooden toy horse, with saddle,on rotating wheels. Four hand carved, not quite circular, discs are attached with nails to the base of the two thick leg posts of the flat, roughly carved, dark wood horse.

Backstrap LoomE164 a-h

A loom (parts a-g) an unfinished woven wool textile consisting of blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, red and white central stylized geometric designs surrounded by a repeating, multi-coloured square border all on a navy ground. The textile is attached at the top and bottom to a large, cylindrical shaped wooden stick (part a). Intertwined in the multi-coloured warp are two cylindrical shaped heddles, one covered in red and white twine (part g), the other in navy twine; a flat, rectangular batten with triangular, pointed ends (part d); one cylindrical shaped bar with indentations on the ends (part e) and two long cylindrical shaped sticks of various size (parts f and h). Separate to the loom is a hollow cylindrical shaped shed roll (part c) and the rectangular shaped brown, leather back strap (part b) that has large loops of twisted twine ties on either end.

Loom (part a-e) with an unfinished textile consisting of a zigzag and lozenge pattern in red, orange, purple, blue, green, pink and white with yellow borders on a red ground. The textile is attached to two large, cylindrical shaped wooden sticks; one at each end. Intertwine in the burgundy warp of the textile are seven wooden tools: two heddle rods; one bamboo stick; one flat, rectangular wood piece with triangular, pointed ends (part d) and three long cylindrical sticks of varying size (parts b, c, e).

Part a: wooden loom with a small section of red, dark blue, orange, pink, green, blue and white woven textile with numerous unraveled strands wrapped around other pieces of wood. The textile is detailed with five different coloured stars on a red ground. Part b: rectangular piece of wood with a semi-circular notch out of each end. Part c thick wooden bar with triangular, pointed ends. Part d: long, cylindrical shaped wooden stick with flat ends. Part e: long, thick, cylindrical shaped wooden stick with flat ends. Part f: wooden bar with triangular, pointed ends. Part g: long, cylindrical shaped wooden stick with flat ends.

The textile is attached to three large, cylindrical shaped wooden sticks; two at the bottom. Backstrap LoomE368 a-f

Loom (part a-f) consisting of a partly woven textile (part a) with unwoven warps, attached shedding devices and accompanying wooden tools. The weaving consists of a large x-shape filled with a lozenge pattern surrounded by stripes all on a burgundy ground. Both ends have large woven sections with an unwoven, cream coloured centre. There are cylindrical loom bars attached to the textile at each end. In the middle are three sticks with string heddles and a shed roll (part c). In addition, there is large stick with tapered, pointed ends (part b) along with three long, cylindrical shaped sticks (parts d, e, f).

Grey, grainy clay sherd (parts a-b) with traces of a light orange slip. Parts a is rectangular in shape with a concaved, smooth underside and a rough surface with a concaved section that runs horizontally across the sherd. Part b is triangular in shape with a smooth, slightly concaved underside and a rough surface. Both pieces have remnants of an incised repeated, rectangular pattern. Fragment of a larger object.

Blouse1376/7

Black blouse with embroidery. The blouse has a rectangular shape with a square neck and no sleeves. Around the neck is a pointed border in black, edged with orange. The front and back are composed of three vertical panels sewn together with black stitching The upper centre panel has a large embroidered square with floral and leaf motifs in many colours, some metallic, on maroon ground. The upper side panels have smaller squares with the same floral and leaf motifs. The bottom edge is unfinished and uneven in the back. The inside is unlined.
