Outer surface of burner is yellow and red and is decorated with Chinese characters. On either side of the piece, there are two handle-like protrusions that bend upwards, are threaded through a circular disk and attach near the rim of the piece by two small nails.

Interior decoration of cursory brush marks in blue that possibly represent a simplified Chinese character, and a character consisting of two squares, one above the other, scratched through the glaze; abstract designs on sides; exterior has two thin, blue bands near foot. Unglazed ring above foot reveals reddish body.

Steep-sided bowl with raised foot ring. Decoration is blue on a light blue-grey ground. Interior has unglazed ring on bottom and two blue rings at bottom of sides; exterior has small area of bamboo(?) designs and one Chinese character on opposite side.
