Faces are orange, background is also orange. White paper left uncoloured in some areas. Figures are 23.5 cm high. The Chinese character福 (fu, fortune) appears on the two fluttering flags behind their shoulders.

Each has 7 black Chinese characters written vertically, each approximately 10 cm. long, written with brush in black ink. Reverse writting in pencil may indicate meaning of characters, part (a), "family filial piety"; part (b), 'heaven and earth creat??e most precious book of poems".

Paper has three vertical lines of calligraphy in black ink, the centre line has six large Chinese characters, and the two side lines have five smaller characters each. Reverse has writing in pencil, "tablet of the ? god who establishes fortune. True (?) is virtue which can leat to greater (?) selflessness leads to heaven".
Six rectangular sheets of red coloured paper, to which pieces of gold foil in irregular shapes, are affixed. Both short ends cut in zigzag pattern; paper punched in several places with irregular pattern of lines and dots.
A pair (parts a-b) of gold isosceles triangles with scalloped edges. Each is glued on a bamboo stick which is bound by a piece of wire which projects, 5.4 cm. (a) or 4.3 cm. (b), beyond the base of the triangle, perpendicular to it. Raised from the surface of each triangle by means of three paper cylinders, there is a smaller foil triangle printed with a multi-coloured design of a butterfly and other shapes. Wired to this is a tuft of red fibres.
Four (parts a-d) gold foil isosceles triangles, stamped with a design of raised dots in curved and straight lines. To each are glued two lozenges of red fabric. Inserted through each is a piece of wire projecting 3.7 cm. from the base, perpendicular to it.
