Long, rectangular, green cotton skirt. Warp threads create a geometric of triangles, lines and a lozenge motif enclosed in six lengthwise yellow and purple bands, three bands at each side border. Borders are decorated by a white creeper-vine motif and the centre by a widely spaced stylized white floral motif.
Rectangular, hand-woven shawl made of fine hand spun silk and cotton mixed yarn, decorated with cotton threads woven into the natural colour ground. Border design repeated at both ends, is an open band of alternating figures: stylized humans one above the other in mirror image; and an elaborated geometric motif. Narrow stripes at borders. A small triangular motif covers ground at widely spaced intervals. Detailing in red and black.

Sturdy, small bamboo stick with a smooth surface. Stick is tapered at both ends. One end is pointed while the other is squared-off. The top surface is more finely finished than reverse side.
A brown quilted hat with a round flat-topped crown and a turned up brim extending around the back and sides. Leading edges of the brim come to points, and extend forward. Red and blue cotton interior. Outer layer is brown brocaded cotton with silver thread medallion decoration. Silver rickrack sewn around brim's edge. Very faded from use.
Box, circular in shape, of sheet brass with a shiny finish. The box has a hemispherical boss at the centre top surrounded by a ring with irregular small raised dots. Brass rings are mounted at either side of the box. The interior is divided into two semi-circular containers, each attached by a rivet so that they can swivel open in opposite directions.
Pottery tool. Small bamboo stick that is sanded on one side more than the other. One end is pointed and the other is squared-off.
Part a: Palm leaf basket; basic framework of split palm stalks held in place by over-woven fillets of palm 1 cm. wide which are crossed over at each intersection creating a four-part checkerboard motif. Two strips of purple are bound over the top and wrapped around the handle.
