A seated anthro-zoomorphic figure that has a head of an elephant and a body of a man with four arms, representing the deity Ganesh. There are incised and intricate painted details on the headdress, the face, and the robe. Each hand holds small object. A rat is at the foot of the figure, next to the throne-like chair. The base is an oval shaped pedestal of red-brown clay. The rest of the figure is a natural tan finish with painted lines of white, red, and brown.

A long unconstructed silk rectangle with sheer plain weave has supplementary weft border patterns. The ends are machine stitched. The selvedge edge is dark green. At the hem, there are three rows of double gold-coloured octagons, single octagons, and arches, and three rows of red-black centred squares. At the waist, there is one row of double gold-coloured octagons and two rows of small red-black centred squares. At the ends, there are woven yellow, green, and white stripes. At the lower corner on the left, there is a merchant's name ("UTTAMCHANDHARBANSUN/AMRITSAR"), stamp, numbers ("11661"), and textile length ("5 YARDS") in blue ink.

Decorated with a red 'x' across the chest, a horizontal red line around the neck, two horizontal red lines around the lower portion of the body, and red-tipped arms.

Ikat-dyed design on fine hand woven blue cotton. Weft ikat dyes create objects of red and green, softly outlined on white on a black ground in three broad bands: (a) two bands of architectural structures, (b) central band of human and tree figures. Other bands of blue and white; checkered green, black and white outlined in red; checkered yellow and purple; single band of blue with white geometric designs, run between three broad bands above. A vertical leafy runner motif woven in white threads dominates upper field. Lengthwise border stripes are yellow and white on blue. Un-numbered end has broad redish-purple band outlined in white, dark blue and yellow. Numbered corner has paper label: 'NO. Large plaited mat of plant fibre. Design is created by pattern of the weave in natural coloured fibre, a checkerboard effect being created. Mat is fine, flexible, cool to touch. One side is polished.
