Basket (part a) and basket base (part b) resembling the shape of a duck. The basket (part a) or the body of the duck-shape, has one end that is wide and round. This then angles inwards and tapers to a narrow point. From this point, the basket widens and resembles a duck's large tail feather. At the widest part of the body, the basket rises with coils to a large purple coiled knob with two coiled triangular shapes protruding from one side. The basket base (part b) fits on the underside of the body and is tear-drop shaped. It has a coiled perimeter, but the centre consists of long stripes of stem that come together in the middle and are slightly twisted. There are four sections of purple stem amongst the natural stem portions.
Woman’s rectangular, embroidered shawl (headcloth). Made of brown, coarsely-woven cotton textile, embroidered over-all with brightly coloured, regularly spaced, squares that are arranged in 6 vertical rows of 12 each. The squares have stylized floral and leaf shapes in them, differing slightly in their predominance of 4 colours: orange, bright pink, light green and white; worked with a surface or “false” satin stitch. Border design of triangles at the ends, and borders of leaf motifs on the sides, which are finished with blanket stitch. The piece is constructed from three sections which were sewn together before the embroidery was worked.
Woman’s rectangular, embroidered shawl (headcloth). Made of red-orange, coarsely-woven cotton textile, embroidered over-all with brightly coloured, regularly spaced rows of stylized floral shapes that are separated by narrow bands of orange cross-stitch. The floral shapes are identical in shape and alternate in four colours in the row, dark yellow, hot pink, light green and white. They are worked with surface or “false” satin stitch. The alternating colours in the rows match up diagonally across the width of the shawl. Leaf-shaped border designs on the ends and along the sides. The sides are finished with blanket stitch in light green silk, while the ends are unfinished. The piece is constructed of three textile panels which were sewn together before the embroidery was worked.
A long rectangular blue silk gauze sari embellished with metallic gold representations with red, green, light blue, and dark blue of leaves, branches, and flowers. The motifs in the main design field are arranged in diagonal rows. The long edges are embellished with rows of gold acanthus leaf-like swirls, interspersed with red, blue, and white dots. There is a very narrow silver binding at the edges.
Rectangular, ceremonial skirt, or apron. The main body of the piece is made of black cotton textile which is bordered at the top with a narrow, multicoloured, horizontal stripe. The lower third of the garment consists of a finely-woven, horizontally striped, multicoloured textile, with many woven geometric motifs. A horizontal row of closely-spaced brown plastic buttons is affixed to the apron just above this patterned textile and extends almost all the way across the width of the garment. Many long strands of dark red glass and metallic cylindrical beads, interspersed with white seeds, are attached below this row of buttons and hang freely to the bottom of the garment. Each strand of beads is finished with a tuft of wool, resembling a small tassel.

Large, thick, rectangular rug, boldly patterned and so densely embroidered in chain stitch that the supporting textile (heavy black wool twill, glued to a layer of burlap) is all but obscured. The large design motif, which is worked with green, gold, pink, orange, and off-white wool thread, consists of circles and geometric shapes within a square frame. There are three of these motifs in the centre of the rug. A narrow edge of the black textile is visible, as a narrow border, at the edge of all four sides of the rug, and a layer of dark brown, lightweight cotton textile is machine-stitched to the back of the piece. All of the colours are faded, however, more vibrant colours are visible if the rows of chain stitches are pushed aside to reveal the unexposed surfaces that lie close to the supporting textile.
