Lid that fits inside of the opening of a pot (B611 a). Lid is plain, and red in colour possibly by being dipped in clay slip. The lid tapers upwards to a mushroom-like knobbed handled and has a small indented rim around its base.

Elongated rectangular shawl made from white mesh-weave fabric. Hand-rolled edge with designs executed with small pieces of metal folded over mesh threads. Narrow chevron border along sides, with wider geometrical borders along the ends. Elaborate geometrical patterns in the centre and a simple overall geometric design.

Theatrical Shrine1610/14

Reddish-orange and yellow coloured rectangular box-shaped shrine has multiple articulated and hinged doors that open outwards. At the top, a short wide door opens from right to left and a nail is used as a door knob. All the surfaces are painted with floral, line, and dot designs or scene of people doing various activities. There are two legs on the bottom of the piece at the back. A loop of metal is centred at the back on the top of the shrine.
