Lantern consisting of black lacquered woven case with a collapsible paper lantern attached inside. The lantern is composed of light brownish-yellow oiled paper with an attached bamboo strip coil support and is decorated with a geometric design of six black squares. On the interior bottom is a metal candle support with a metal spike at the centre, and there is a metal handle at the top.

Brown metal lantern consisting of a four-legged base (part c), elliptically shaped shade (part a), and a rounded top (part b). Shade is a bamboo panel design lined with ecru-coloured rice paper. Top is round with a gentle downward slope towards the edges and a knob handle in the centre. Four-legged base has a light socket and electric cord attached.

Rectangular mat. The individual bamboo strands are held together with twelve rows of white stitching. There is a wider piece of bamboo at each end.

The left and right side have a blue background with two rows of black and white geometric designs. The central, rectangular panel is cream with red zigzag and curly lines behind pink, red, orange, purple, blue and navy flowers with green, dark green, blue and navy leaves.

Rectangular white cloth with dyed designs. Along the upper edge is a border with six dark blue human figures in motion against a brown and white background of swastika and swirl motifs. Below the border are several columns of Japanese writing. There are two selvage edges and two raw edges.
