Libation WandEd9.6

Libation-offering wand, known as ikupasuy in Ainu. Long, thin wooden piece that tapers to a squared-off point at one end and has rounded corners at the other. There is one oval-shaped sections near the end of the piece with cross-hatching designs inside. It is outlined with scroll-like designs that continue the length of the piece. There are three carved lines at each end.

Sake CupEd9.3 a-b

Part a is a cup with a wide round opening, that tapers to a raised foot near the bottom. It has a carved scalloped band around its rim. The rest of the cup is textured. Part b is the saucer to the cup. It is raised on a cone-shaped piece, then flares out to a disk-shaped platform that is slightly upturned and narrows towards the centre to create a small cup-shape in the centre. There is a round hollow tube through the three sections. The entire surface of both the cone-shaped piece and the disk-shaped piece has grooved lines that widen on the outer edges.

Blue patterned hanten (袢纏, also written as 半天, 袢天, 半纏) with dark blue patchwork. The pattern consists of dark blue dots in horizontal rows. There are dark blue patches on the upper back, shoulders, sleeves and the bottom of the centre opening. There is a small blue square on the left lower front, above the hem. There is a wide dark blue band around the neck and down the centre opening. The short sleeves are tapered. The inside is unlined.
