Red ceramic vase with gold and multicoloured designs. Vase has a ringed base, round body and narrow neck. There are front and back panels of kissing fish with coral and wave motifs, surrounded by gourd plants and butterflies on red ground. Around the base is a blue meander border.

The main piece is the doll (part a) which has another piece, the flower hair accessory (part b). The doll is a female with her black thread hair held into several buns with hair accessories. Her kimono-like robe has a red, yellow, and white floral pattern on a red background. There are orange tassels around her neck. She has seven red and gold-coloured circular ornaments, with the middle one being larger than the rest. She is standing on a flat rectangular base which is painted black.
