Hexagonal with no shoulder or neck; alternating red and white backgrounds, red with white floral designs and white with green and orange geometric designs; gold around rim and down edges.

Figure carved out of wood. Represents a man crouched over with his left arm wrapped around his knees which are folded into his body. A circular hat is attached to his back. He has a skeletal figure, a bald head, bulbous cheeks, and black glass beads(?) for eyes.

Red circular dish with a rural scene depicted on the surface with gold and grey paint--image shows figures working by a building next to a river.

Red ceramic vase with gold and multicoloured designs. Vase has a ringed base, round body and narrow neck. There are front and back panels of kissing fish with coral and wave motifs, surrounded by gourd plants and butterflies on red ground. Around the base is a blue meander border.

Blue cloth with repeating white batik(?) pattern of flowers, leaves and butterflies.

Cream silk panel with embroidery. There are two herons standing in the front marsh area against a background of a tree that extends to the top of the panel. There are two birds in the tree, one bird flying and three butterflies, all in creams, browns, grays and black on cream ground. The back is lined with white silk.

The main piece is the doll (part a) which has another piece, the flower hair accessory (part b). The doll is a female with her black thread hair held into several buns with hair accessories. Her kimono-like robe has a red, yellow, and white floral pattern on a red background. There are orange tassels around her neck. She has seven red and gold-coloured circular ornaments, with the middle one being larger than the rest. She is standing on a flat rectangular base which is painted black.

Print of trees and ground cover in lower right foreground, and large mountain in background. Black and grey, with gold coloured paint on top and right side of mountain, and also on tree tops. Black Japanese characters and red seals in lower right corner. Gold coloured metal border around edges. Reverse side has silver coloured metallic flakes scattered over paper mount.

Black and gold coloured comb with a curved spine, fine teeth, and two birds and flowers painted along the top.

Undecorated bowl that is all-over glazed except for five ovular spots on interior around centre and five more spots on foot rim. Foot is slightly hollowed out.
