Two dolls with moveable black pointed heads. Bodies are long and circular with similar painted designs and writing on them. Part a has a black horizontal striped design, white writing and two thin gold stripes. Part b has a red horizontal striped design, white writing and two thin gold stripes.

Kokeshi doll with rounded head and a long narrow body that slightly flares out at the base. Head features are in black and orange. Designs on body are orange and green. Bottom of base has writing on it and has a circular groove cut into it.

Kokeshi doll made from a piece of birch branch? Round painted head with back hair, red and black facial features, and has a painted landscape design with writing on the main body. The top and bottom portions of the body have bark on them.

Ceramic pot and lid. Pot (part a) is grey with brown glazed rim. Rim has four notches which were used for fastening lid to bowl with string. Lid (part b) is white. It is flat and round with two raised ridges on top. top also has a wood grain design and some writing between the ridges.

Lidded pot with narrow foot, bulbous body, and wide, flared neck. Two loop handles are at shoulder. One face bounded by the two handles is decorated with dark brown Japanese characters(?); other face is undecorated. The lid is flat and has a lip that fits into the neck of the pot.

Round jar with curved sides; straight neck; raised foot ring. Decoration on exterior is a scene of three people standing on grass in front of a fence. A yellow, purple and blue geometric pattern is around the neck on the shoulder. Seven Japanese characters in a circle are painted ? inside foot ring. Part b is a domed lid with a painted person in the centre and an orange band around the edge.

Set of fifteen miniature dolls (part b-p) contained within a small woven bamboo(?) basket (part a) with a red flowered cloth top and an orange pull string. Part q is a piece of red velvet covered cardboard on which the dolls sit.

Tall, square vase with flush foot and vertical sides. Vase is slightly twisted so that square of top rim is not in line with that of the foot. The outer sides are decorated with spiraling grooves in surface and an incised band near top. A stamp is on the base in one corner.

Pink metal cylindrical container (part a) with a rose flower design on a rectangular white-yellow background. Outer lid (part b) can be removed to reveal the inner lid (part c) that has a gold coloured knob on the top. Container is filled with a brown powdery substance.

Octagonal shaped vase with raised narrow neck and overhanging lip decorated with two panels. Predominently gold in colour. One panel: predominently floral design with two birds on right and two buildings on left; water and mountains in background. Other panel: predominently floral design with buildings and bridge on left; water and mountains in background. Scalloped gold background with red, blue and green designs in multiple shapes fill space between panels and on top of body. Gold band around rim. Stamp on bottom (maker's mark?)
